Book Review : Anywhere But Here by Tanya Lloyd Kyi

Assalamualaikum and hello to all of you beautiful readers. Two weeks of holiday, why don't spice up your day with some books to read ? That's what I did and yet, there's some books that I don't finish it yet. Fixi books. Why? Because I scared of what the ending might be. Anyway, now I'm going to talk about the current book I just finished reading. Which is Anywhere But Here written by Tanya Lloyd Kyi.

Why bought this book in the first place?
Truthfully, I attracted to the cover. The phrase 'don't judged a book by its cover' never really comes into my mind when I am choosing books to read. For the author out there, cover IS important. Well, for me actually. I like simple cover but actually have a deep meaning behind it pages.

Summarise it.
The story is mainly about the life of Cole Owens. The story started tragically when he got to suffers his life after the death of his mom and his father that act like a stranger in the house. With the stress of breaking up with his girlfriend Lauren, just lead with no end. All he wants to do is graduate and leave the small town to a better life. But every path have a bump on the road, right?

 The Back .

The Cover.

My review?
I imagine Cole as a tall, handsome guy like the cover describes. Even though, the cover only shows the back of the guy but imagination can goes wild sometimes. Yes, I mean wild. Don't want to write any spoiler, of course. Better make it surprise, right? All I want to say is overall, this book is just a good realistic book. This book somehow seems alive with the character and the plot written made me drown between the pages. Plus the songs I heard and one of them is Life Left To Go by Safetysuit. Honestly, this book is not my no. 1 must read but this is one of the few books that I suggest to read. This is not some cliche happy ending story but this also don't have a big twist. This is just a right book to accompany those bookworms out there.

I give it 4 rainbows out of 5 rainbows.

So, do YOU have any book to suggest?
