Review: Lush Don't Look At Me Mask

   Assalamualaikum and hello lovelies!

So I just finished my Lush face mask and going to talk about it if you guys want to know a little bit further 'bout this mask. Unfortunately, Lush isn't available in Malaysia but you guys can purchase them online on Lush's Singapore website.  I first discovered this mask from MyLifeAsEva's video where she put the mask on Brian and the colour of the mask just so vibrant. I was like, it is SO aqua blue and I like it. I want it. Asap. Luckily when I was in Canada, we bumped into a Lush store and thank god the mask is in stock. So yeah, now get on to the review! Sorry, for dragging you to my mini story time.

I bought the smallest pot thinking that I'll be able to finish this before or a little bit late from the expiry date. Sadly, the mask expired about a week and a half after I purchased it consider it's a fresh mask but I put it in the fridge so... nothing bad happened.

When I first applied the face mask I was actually quite surprised that it spread very easily consider my previous experience with Cupcake and Oatifix are nothing like this on first application. I will usually exfoliate the mask on my face before leave it on for 10-15 minutes. I am not sure what's the cause of the exfoliation but I think it's the grounded white rice. In the process 10-15 minutes, I usually take picture of myself and send it to bunch of my friends. 😜

Now on to the rinse time! It rinses off easily and I just go on to my usual skincare routine.

It didn't make a huge change for my skin but it really felt exfoliated but not in a quite smooth way. Although it can be quite harsh for a sensitive skin but I still can cope with the 'harshness'. I did breakout on my first and second use of it though. (Disappointed since I really into this mask) Overall, after the second used I didn't get any breakout from the mask again. Thank god.

I really like the smell and the scent is very similar to Lush's Love and Light Hand Cream though. A calm lemony scent that I'll sniff whenever I apply it on my hands. It took me 'bout 2 months to finish this small pot and I applied it 2-3 times a week. I also want to finish it quick due to the expiry date and to keep up with the freshness.

I give it 3.8/5 stars.

It is not one of the best mask I used but it's a great mask if you just want to have a little bit of fun with the colour. I will not recommend this to sensitive skins since it has lemon in it which might be too acidic for the skin.

  1. I like the simplicity of the ingredients. Lemon juice does help in exfoliating your skin chemically sebab it's an example of Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA). And they added grounded white rice lagi which is good for physical exfoliating.

Too bad we couldn't get Lush here. Does the one in Singapore shipped to our country?
